The Four Tet discography maps a consistent evolution through distinct phases. Pause (2001) and Rounds (2003) established a template: chopped samples, jazz textures, bedroom electronics with an unusually sophisticated harmonic sense. Everything Ecstatic (2005) pushed toward rhythm. Ringer (2008) was a transitional EP.
